Basic Photography Course
The Basic Photography Course is designed for the beginning and intermediate Photographer. Four weekly evening classes offer instruction in film and digital camera operation, exposure settings, light direction and quality, composition and design.
Optional half-day Saturday classroom workshops feature Getting to Know Your Camera, Introduction to Digital Photography, and Close-Up Photography, all at no additional cost.
The course also provides optional half-day weekend field workshops, which give students hands-on experience relating to the course topics and provide opportunities for individual instruction.
A potluck is held on the final Sunday, where students can share their work. A course notebook is provided.

The Course meets in The Mountaineers new headquarters; 7700 Sand Point Way NE; Seattle, WA, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. for coffee, socializing and exhibits.
