Basic Photography Course

2014-Basic-Course-BrochureThe Basic Photography Course is designed for the beginning and intermediate Photographer. Four weekly evening classes offer instruction in film and digital camera operation, exposure settings, light direction and quality, composition and design.

This two week class includes Saturday morning classroom lectures on March 1 & 8, 2014, an optional Saturday afternoon classroom workshop on March 2, 2014, and hands-on field workshops on Saturday, March 8, 2014 and Sundays, March 2 & 9, 2014, to practice what you learn in the classroom. Also included is a course notebook with lecture notes, creative exercises, practice tips and some advanced techniques to allow students to progress after the class has ended.

The optional workshops will not conflict with each other and are a bonus benefit for students to learn new techniques and to get hands on help from volunteers. Plan on attending as many of these as you can. More information on these workshops follows in the Explore Beyond the Lectures section of the brochure.
